Oral Health Therapists
Oral Health Therapists are university trained and registered with the Dental Board of Australia. Our Oral Health Therapists will assist with your orthodontic treatment under the supervision and instruction of Dr Haylea Blundell. Auxiliary staff play an important role in our practice and allow greater flexibility with patient appointments.
Olivia Tan
Oral Health Therapist
Olivia has worked at Bendigo Orthodontic Specialists since July, 2024. Her passion for oral health comes from a deep belief in the power of a beautiful smile and its significant impact on overall well-being. Olivia chose this career path because she appreciates the holistic approach that oral health therapy brings to healthcare. Having completed her studies at La Trobe University in Bendigo, Olivia is eager to make a meaningful difference by promoting oral health and contributing to the creation of beautiful smiles within the community.
Olivia loves being apart of our family at Bendigo Orthodontic Specialists because of the practice’s strong commitment to patient care, the supportive team culture, and the opportunity for continued professional growth.
Outside of work, Olivia values spending time with friends and family, often sharing new experiences together. She enjoys swimming, which keeps her active and refreshed. Olivia also have a creative side, and you can often find her at home indulging in arts and crafts like knitting or painting. Olivia's pets are also a special part of her life, adding an extra layer of joy to her free time.

Emily has recently completed her Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy at La Trobe University (June, 2024) and has joined our team! Emily is a familiar face to Bendigo Orthodontic Specialists, working with us since 2022 as a dental assistant while studying Oral Health Therapy.
Emily was born and raised in Bendigo and holds her Cert III and Cert IV in dental assisting. She has 6 years experience working within the dental industry and is extremely passionate and excited to give back to her local community as an Oral Health Therapist.
Emily helps Dr Haylea with your appointments and her favourite part is showing patients their final result once their braces treatment is complete!
Emily's favourite colour is pink, she goes for Collingwood and adores her dog, Teely!
